17岁时发表《被窝是青春的坟墓》入围新概念大赛，次年获新概念一等奖。2007年，出版《被窝是青春的坟墓》《大地之灯》畅销百万册，获华语文学传媒大奖、紫金·人民文学之星等重要文学奖项。

Writer Qi Jinnian spent three years crossing 30,000 miles of Hengduan Mountains, from the east of Yuping in West China to the west of Hengduan Mountains, going deep into the longest and most mysterious north-south mountain system in China, touching the fault lines of geology, scenery, culture and ideas, and exploring the essence of life and destiny.
