《日清战争》是入选“十三五”国家重点图书出版规划项目“甲午劫难记忆译丛”之一种。本书是日军旧参谋本部编写出版的《明治二十七八年日清战史》（共8卷）的节译版，主要从日本官方的立场出发较为详细地叙述了甲午战争的全过程。该书的部分观点有违历史事实，且有美化日本侵略战争的地方，但整体而言史料比较详实，有助于我们了解日军在战争过程中的战略部署、部队的编成体制、作战方案的制定、陆海军的协同等情况，进一步加深对甲午战争的认识。

译者简介：何建军，男，汉族，河南登封人，文学博士，中华日本学会理事，国家社科基金同行评议专家。曾长期在洛阳外国语学院工作，现为湖南科技学院外国语学院日语系教授。主要研究方向为日本近现代文学，出版专著两部，编著、参编教材教参多部，发表学术论文50余篇。主持国家社科基金项目2项，参与国家级、省部级课题10余项，获省部级教学、科研奖励多项。
王建英，女，汉族，江苏苏州人，华东师范大学外语学院日语系副教授。主要研究方向为日语词汇学，参编教材教参9部，出版译著多部，发表学术论文10余篇。
Content introduction
"The Japanese War" is selected as one of the "13th Five-Year Plan" national key book publishing planning project "the memory of the Sino-Japanese disaster translation". This book is an abridged version of the eight-volume History of the Nishiqing War in Meiji 278, which was published by the old Japanese General Staff Headquarters. It describes the whole process of the Sino-Japanese War in more detail, mainly from the official standpoint of Japan. Some of the book's views are contrary to historical facts and glorify Japan's war of aggression, but on the whole, the historical materials are more detailed and accurate, which can help us understand the strategic deployment of the Japanese army during the war, the formation of troops, the formulation of combat plans, and the coordination of the army and navy, and further deepen our understanding of the Sino-Japanese War.

He Jianjun, male, Han nationality, Henan Dengfeng, Doctor of Literature, director of the Chinese Society of Japan, National Social Science Foundation peer review expert. He has worked in Luoyang Institute of Foreign Languages for a long time, and is now a professor in the Department of Japanese in the School of Foreign Languages, Hunan University of Science and Technology. His main research direction is Japanese modern and contemporary literature. He has published two monographs, edited and participated in several teaching materials, and published more than 50 academic papers. Presided over 2 national Social science fund projects, participated in more than 10 national and provincial projects, and won a number of provincial teaching and scientific research awards.
Wang Jianying, female, Han nationality, born in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, is an associate professor in the Department of Japanese, School of Foreign Languages, East China Normal University. His main research direction is Japanese lexicology. He has participated in the compilation of 9 teaching materials, published many translations, and published more than 10 academic papers.
