古希腊抒情诗人。人们对她的生平所知甚少,据说她出生于莱斯波斯岛的一个贵族家庭,有个喜好诗歌的父亲。她在父亲的熏陶下,迷上了吟诗写作。青年时期曾被逐出故乡,数年后返回家乡,开设女子学堂。她一生写过大量的诗歌,其中以描写青春期少女的情歌最为著名。她被誉为文学史上第一位女诗人,几千年来备受人们推崇。

Sappho
Ancient Greek lyric poet. Little is known about her life, but she was said to have been born into a noble family on Lesbos, the daughter of a poetic father. Under her father's influence, she fell in love with poetry and writing. He was expelled from his hometown when he was young, and returned to his hometown a few years later to open a girls' school. She wrote many poems during her lifetime, most notably love songs about adolescent girls. She is known as the first female poet in the history of literature and has been admired by people for thousands of years.
