Sid Mayer is a game programmer and game designer who has been credited with many of the computer games he helped develop, including Sid Mayer's Civilization and the subsequent Civilization series.
Sid Mayer has made great contributions to the computer game industry. In 1996, Sid Mayer was inducted into the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame.
