《云南禄村》内容简介
著名人类学家费孝通在20世纪30年代深入云南禄村就农地制进行了一项拓荒性研究。半个多世纪之后，加拿大学者宝森重访该地区，并进行了为期10年的田野考察。在追溯以往60年中国政治、经济、历史巨变的情形下，作者围绕“中国妇女与农村发展”这个主题，以独特的视角与方法挖掘并梳理了缠足与纺织、农地制、农业与非农业就业、贫困与富裕、婚姻家庭、人口变迁及政治文化等诸多领域的社会性别问题，从而再现了乡土中国汉人社会性别制度嬗变的微观动态。
作者简介：
宝森（LaurelBossen）加拿大麦吉尔大学人类学名誉教授。她曾获得美国国家科学基金会和加拿大社会科学与人文研究理事会颁发的奖项，还曾担任日本国立民族学博物馆和中国香港中文大学的客座教授。她对性别、劳动和发展的比较研究很感兴趣。她早期的研究比较了危地马拉不同民族、农村、城市和阶级社区的妇女与工作。自20世纪80年代以来，宝森一直专注于研究中国农村在不同政治和经济条件下性别关系的变化。宝森最近的著作包括《中国妇女与农村发展：云南禄村六十年的变迁》，以及与他人合著的《年轻的手与被缚的足：追溯中国乡村缠足现象的消失》。
译者简介：
胡玉坤北京大学全球健康发展研究院研究员、博士生导师。2005年从美国麻省克拉克大学获得博士学位后到北大任教，曾是纽约哥伦比亚大学的富布莱特学者(2013—2014年度)。她先后担任过联合国人口基金、世界卫生组织、联合国开发计划署及联合国妇女署等国际组织的顾问/专家。目前是中国人口学会、中国妇女研究会理事等。研究兴趣包括全球化、公共卫生与人口健康，气候变化与人类健康，性与生殖健康，人口、资源环境和可持续发展及社会性别视阈下的“三农”问题等。
"Yunnan Lu Village" content introduction
Fei Xiaotong, a famous anthropologist, conducted a pioneering study on the agricultural land system in Lu Village, Yunnan Province in the 1930s. More than half a century later, the Canadian scholar Paulsen revisited the area and conducted a 10-year field study. In the context of the political, economic and historical changes in China in the past 60 years, the author focuses on the theme of "Chinese women and rural development", and explores gender issues in many fields, such as foot binding and textile, agricultural land system, agricultural and non-agricultural employment, poverty and affluence, marriage and family, population change and political culture, with a unique perspective and method. Thus, it reproduces the micro-dynamics of the evolution of the social gender system of the Han people in rural China.
About the author:
LaurelBossen is professor emeritus of anthropology at McGill University in Canada. She has received awards from the National Science Foundation of the United States and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, and has been a visiting professor at the National Museum of Ethnology in Japan and the Chinese University of Hong Kong in China. She is interested in comparative studies of gender, labor, and development. Her earlier research compared women and work in different ethnic, rural, urban, and class communities in Guatemala. Since the 1980s, Bossen has focused on studying changes in gender relations under different political and economic conditions in rural China. Bossen's recent books include Women and Rural Development in China: Sixty Years of Change in Lu Village, Yunnan Province, and Young Hands and Bound Feet: Tracing the Disappearance of Foot Binding in Rural China.
About the Translator
Hu Yukun, researcher and doctoral supervisor at the Institute of Global Health Development, Peking University. After receiving his doctorate from Clark University in Massachusetts in 2005, he joined Peking University and was a Fulbright Scholar at Columbia University in New York (2013-2014). She has worked as a consultant/expert for international organizations such as the United Nations Population Fund, the World Health Organization, the United Nations Development Programme and UN Women. He is currently a member of the China Population Society and the China Women's Research Society. His research interests include globalization, public health and population health, climate change and human health, sexual and reproductive health, population, resources, environment and sustainable development, and "three rural" issues from a gender perspective.
