作者简介
薛仁明，一九六八年生于台湾，系福建漳州长泰县山重村薛氏来台之第十二代。父亲薛阿客，工人；母亲薛蔡莲种，工人；两人均未受过学校教育。
台大历史系、佛光大学艺术学研究所毕业。台南一中二年级开始，长期困惑于安身立命之道，十八岁时且因之休学半年。十九岁开始，有心于儒释道三家。一九九三年起，长居台东池上乡下。关心的焦点，是文化之重建与生命之修行。

About the author
Xue Renming, born in 1968 in Taiwan, is the 12th generation of the Xue family from Shanzhong Village, Changtai County, Zhangzhou, Fujian. His father, Shayak, a worker; Mother, Hsueh Chae Lien Chung, worker; Neither had a school education.
