Tokyo Eight Square Meters is a new collection of essays by Shinobu Yoshii, a Chinese-speaking Japanese writer. Eight square meters in Japan is known as "four and a half tatami", that is, only four and a half tatami sized rooms, which are cheap to rent.

Because the eight-square-meter room has no kitchen and refrigerator, no bathroom and washing machine, she excitedly wrote about how to eat and live, and personally experienced the daily life of the common people in Japan. Shinobu Yoshii

Japanese writer, graduated from International Christian University in International Relations.

He studied in Chengdu, farmed in the south of France, and worked as a news editor across Asia.

Now living in Tokyo, full-time writing, the "Tokyo Honya", "Four Seasons Bento" series, and won the "Eslite Reading professional Award".
