The late US President John F. Kennedy has been called "perhaps the most charismatic" figure in American history, and many Americans see him as a "more powerful man in death than he was in life". About the author

Barbie Zelizer is an internationally acclaimed journalism and communication scholar. Raymond Williams Chair Professor of Communication, Annenberg School of Communication, University of Pennsylvania, USA. He was president of the International Communication Society. The research focuses on the cultural dimension of news, focusing on core issues such as news authority and collective memory. In recent years, her research has attracted the attention of domestic academic circles, and many scholars cite her discussion on "explaining the community" and her research on collective memory to explore relevant issues in Chinese journalism.
