《1980年代》蔡翔通过文学重绘1980年代的社会转折与思想图景，提出“两个80年代”的说法：第一个80年代，围绕社会领域中的改革、启蒙、现代化等观念展开，由“伤痕文学”发端打开了诸多的写作领域，文学以现实主义手法依然拥有饱满的社会政治功能与历史使命。第二个80年代，源于对第一个80年代的反思与质疑，改革与现代化的发展主旋律既带来勃勃生机也带来问题与危机，在个体意识和内在自我日益凸显的同时，文化与文明问题也成为80年代中期之后的核心思想议题；现代主义悄然崛起，并由此诞生了“纯文学”观念，影响延续至今。

　　80年代末，新写实小说与王朔作品轮番登场，将80年代初期中国人对美好未来的向往变成“一地鸡毛”式的庸碌日常，他们以文学的方式消解了一个大时代的理想和价值，从而终结了80年代，开启了90年代。

　　这是作者将文学史与社会史和思想史研究相结合而产生的一部思想文本。作者认为，1980年代不能成为80年代人的纪念馆，而应该成为历史的图书馆，以供我们反复阅读。

　　作者简介

　　蔡翔，著名学者，文学批评家。1953年生于上海。1970年赴安徽固镇县杨庙公社插队务农，后历任上海三轮铸件厂工人，上海长新色织厂技校教师，《上海文学》杂志社编辑、执行副主编。2002年调入上海大学，任中文系教授、博士生导师。

　　从事当代文学和文化的批评与研究工作，兼及散文随笔写作。代表作有《革命/叙述：中国社会主义文学-文化想象（1949—1966）》（2010），《神圣回忆》（1996），《日常生活的诗意消解》（1994），《一个理想主义者的精神漫游》（1987）等。

In The 1980s, CAI Xiang redraws the social transition and ideological picture of the 1980s through literature, and puts forward the argument of "two 80s" : In the first 80's, centering on the concepts of reform, enlightenment and modernization in the social field, many fields of writing were opened from the beginning of "wound literature", and literature still had full social and political functions and historical missions with realistic methods. In the second 1980s, due to the reflection and questioning of the first 1980s, the development theme of reform and modernization brought not only vitality but also problems and crises. While individual consciousness and inner self became increasingly prominent, the issue of culture and civilization also became the core ideological issue after the mid-1980s. Modernism quietly rose, and thus gave birth to the concept of "pure literature", the influence continues to this day.

At the end of the 1980s, the new realistic novels and Wang Shuo's works appeared in turn, turning the Chinese people's yearning for a better future in the early 1980s into a mediocre daily life of "a land of chicken hair". They dissolved the ideals and values of a big era in the way of literature, thus ending the 1980s and opening the 1990s.

This is an ideological text produced by combining literary history with social history and ideological history. The author believes that the 1980s should not be a memorial to the people of the 1980s, but a library of history for us to read over and over again.

About the author

CAI Xiang, a famous scholar and literary critic. Born in Shanghai in 1953. In 1970, he went to work in Yangmiao Commune, Guzhen County, Anhui Province, and later worked as a worker of Shanghai Sanlun Casting Factory, a teacher of Shanghai Changxin yarn-dyed Fabric Factory technical school, and an editor and executive deputy editor of Shanghai Literature Magazine. In 2002, he was transferred to Shanghai University as a professor and doctoral supervisor of the Department of Chinese Literature.

He is engaged in the criticism and research of contemporary literature and culture, as well as the writing of essays. His works include Revolution/Narrative: Chinese Socialist Literature - Cultural Imagination (1949-1966) (2010), Sacred Memories (1996), Poetic Dissolution of Everyday Life (1994), and Spiritual Wanderings of an Idealist (1987).
