Alberto Manguel is a famous novelist, translator, literary critic and publisher, recipient of the Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres, Officer of the Order of Canada, former director of the National Library of Argentina, and since 2020 director of the Center for the Study of the History of Reading in Lisbon, Portugal.
About the Translator
Sun Miao, who studied economics in her early years, went to France to study western art history in order to pursue her photography dream. She graduated from the Art history major of the University of Strasbourg and once worked for a museum in Shenzhen, hoping to make Chinese readers understand every work of art through translation
