About the author
SariNusseibeh, a Palestinian philosopher, is the son of one of Jerusalem's oldest Arab families, the son of a father and grandfather who were prominent politicians. He was educated at Oxford University and Harvard University; He was President of Al-Quds University in Jerusalem, chief representative of the Palestine Liberation Organization in Jerusalem, and a fellow of the Radcliffe Institute at Harvard University. As a representative of Palestinian moderates, he has long called for the use of "non-violent and peaceful means" to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian issue.
