　　韩晓强西南政法大学新闻传播学院副教授、硕士生导师，中国传媒大学、加拿大蒙特利尔大学联合培养博士，研究领域为电影理论、媒介理论、世界电影史以及当代媒介艺术，译有《后电影视觉：运动影像媒介与观众的共同进化》一书。

Introduction to the content of "Towards Media Ontology"

This book is a selection of theoretical texts on media studies, covering a wide range of fields from old media to new media to post-media. The first part focuses on traditional media, including media ontology, spatial, intuitive and graphic practice and thinking, audiovisual media, public media display and media domain. The second part turns to the discussion of new media, including digital memory, analog and digital cybernetics, media specific analysis, software and visual knowledge, network power theory, social communication in social media and daily media life practice. The third part delves into the post-media era, covering cutting-edge topics such as media theory, biotechnology and post-human discourse, insect media, evil media research, infrastructuralism, and the situation of digital throw away.

About the author

Han Xiaoqiang is an associate professor and master tutor at the School of Journalism and Communication, Southwest University of Political Science and Law. He is a joint doctoral candidate at the Communication University of China and the University of Montreal, Canada. His research fields include film theory, media theory, world film history and contemporary media art.
