《何谓唐代》内容简介

　　本书以广阔的东欧亚世界为舞台，全面介绍世界帝国唐朝二百九十年的历史。起于隋末大乱的唐朝，在十数年间陆续平定群雄割据，并攻灭东突厥，唐朝皇帝被尊为“天可汗”，建立起统治农耕、游牧、绿洲等文明，具有世界影响的大帝国。此后不断扩展，臻于至盛，至“安史之乱”急转直下，开始走上漫长的转型之路。

　　作者森部丰教授专攻粟特人研究，在现有政治史研究的基础上，他从粟特人的迁徙、定居、建立势力，参与并融入唐朝政治军事活动着手，剖析了唐朝不同于既往朝代，能够兼收并蓄、开放包容的侧面，以及伴随体制变迁经历的历史性转型，展现出一幅全新的唐代历史面貌。

　　[日]森部丰，1967年生于爱知县，专攻唐五代史、东欧亚史。现为关西大学教授。著有『ソグド人の東方活動と東ユーラシア世界の歴史的展開』（《粟特人在东方的活动和东欧亚世界的历史性展开》）、『安禄山―「安史の乱」を起こしたソグド人』（《安禄山——发动“安史之乱”的粟特人》）等。

What is Tang Dynasty

This book takes the vast East European Asian world as a stage to comprehensively introduce the history of the world empire of the Tang Dynasty for 290 years. In the Tang Dynasty, which began in the chaos of the late Sui Dynasty, the emperor of the Tang Dynasty was respected as the "Emperor of Heaven" and established a great empire that ruled the civilization of farming, nomadism and oasis and had worldwide influence. Since then, it has continued to expand, reached its peak, and turned sharply to "An Shi Chaos" and began to embark on a long road of transformation.

The author, Professor Yutaka Moribe, specializes in Sogdian studies. Based on the existing political history studies, he starts from the migration, settlement, establishment of forces, participation and integration into the political and military activities of the Sogdian people, and analyzes the aspects of the Tang Dynasty that are different from previous dynasties, inclusive, open and inclusive, as well as the historical transformation accompanied by institutional changes. It shows a new historical outlook of the Tang Dynasty.

About the author:

[J] Yutaka Moribe, born in 1967 in Aichi Prefecture, specializes in the history of the Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties and Eastern European Asian history. He is currently a professor at Kansai University. His books include: ソグド people の Activities in the East と The Development of the の History of the East ユーラシア World (Activities of the Sogdians in the East and the Historical Development of the East Asian World), An Lushan: The Anshi の Chaos を from こしたソグド people (An Lushan: The Sogdians who launched the Anshi Rebellion), etc.

About the Translator

Ma Yunchao, Ph.D. in History from Nanjing University, is currently an assistant researcher at the Center for Chinese Thinkers, Nanjing University. His research interests include the history of ancient Sino-Japanese relations and the history of maritime exchanges in East Asia. He has published more than 20 papers in academic journals such as "World History", "Jianghai Journal" and "Shilin", presided over a project of the National Social Science Fund, and wrote seven independent translations.
