  长期从事科学知识的普及工作,出版过3本科普著作,并积极参加科学节和与科普相关的公共活动。2011年,因其对物理学事业的杰出贡献入选美国物理学会。

About the author

Professor of Experimental Physics, University of Padua, Italy, engaged in thermonuclear fusion research for many years, headed several laboratories in the field of magnetic confinement fusion, and held senior positions in several international research projects, such as the European Fusion Energy Development Consortium (EUROfusion), the Filter Tokamak Experiment (DTT) project.

He has long been engaged in the popularization of scientific knowledge, published three popular science books, and actively participated in science festivals and public activities related to popular science. In 2011, he was elected to the American Physical Society for his outstanding contributions to physics.
