　　闫岩中国人民大学新闻学院教授，博士生导师，美国亚拉巴马大学传播学博士，香港城市大学访问学者。

　　研究方向为媒介社会学和危机传播，研究成果发表于《新闻与传播研究》《国际新闻界》《传播与社会学刊》，以及CommnicationResearch、Journalism&MassCommunicationQuarterly等国内外知名学术刊物。

　　长期以媒介社会学视角关注危机事件的传播规律和社会影响，斩获多项国际国内科研奖项，曾获评“中国新闻传播学学会杰出青年奖”。

Professor Yan Yan, School of Journalism, Renmin University of China, started with the daily human behavior of "gossiping". From the perspectives of anthropology, history, communication, sociology, etc., he detailed the history of entertainment news development with us, and discussed, analyzed and criticized the modern entertainment journalism that fills our daily life.

The book follows the clues of how gossip emerged, how it entered journalism and became entertainment news, the evolution of entertainment news types, and the controversies surrounding entertainment news, and discusses the cultural implications of entertainment news, a popular type of news, deeply and simply. About the author

Yan Yan, Professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Journalism, Renmin University of China, Ph.D., Communication Studies, University of Alabama, Visiting Scholar, City University of Hong Kong.

Research direction for media sociology and crisis spread, research results published in the studies of journalism and communication in the international press, "the journal of communication and society, and CommnicationResearch, Journalism&MassCommunicationQuarterly and other domestic and international famous academic journals.

He has long been concerned about the communication law and social impact of crisis events from the perspective of media sociology, and has won a number of international and domestic scientific research awards, and was awarded the "Outstanding Youth Award of the Chinese Society of Journalism and Communication".
