Written by two leading clinical psychologists in the UK, this book is based on the experience of working with hundreds of children and parents. It is based on the theoretical background of cognitive behavioural therapy, which aims to help parents of children aged 5-12 to identify and deal with children's anxiety such as fear and worry, and is used in the NHS and educational services.

Professor of Developmental Clinical Psychology, works in the School of Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences at the University of Reading, UK, and is co-head of the Adolescent Anxiety and Depression Clinical Research Unit at the University of Reading and Honorary Consultant Clinical Psychologist.

[E] LucyWilletts

A clinical psychologist and certified cognitive behavioural therapist, he is also a visiting scholar at the University of Reading in the UK. She has a special interest in the treatment of anxiety disorders in children and adolescents, and has published numerous research papers and professional books.
