The Columbine Case

Columbine, one of the bloodiest school killings in American history, served as a template for school shootings in the nearly two decades that followed. This book is the most authoritative and informative investigation of the case.

The story took place on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School in Colorado, USA. After a long period of planning, two teenagers under the age of 18, Dylan and Eric, hired people to buy guns and privately traded a second pistol, then carried guns and homemade explosives into the campus and shot dead 12 students and 1 teacher, causing 24 injuries. They both committed suicide.

This incident triggered a great shock in American society, as well as profound discussions on many practical and moral issues such as marginalized people, heavy metal music, adolescent psychological problems, violent entertainment products, gun control, and life beliefs.
