Yin Xueyun is a native of Jizhou, Tianjin. Member of the National Committee of Chinese Writers Association, Chairman of Tianjin Writers Association. He won the first Liang Bin Literature Award, Sun Li Prose Award, Lin Yutang Literature Award, Beijing Literature Award for Excellent Works, Contemporary Literature Award, Novel Monthly Hundred Flowers Award and the seventh Lu Xun Literature Award.
