《秦汉国家祭祀史稿》内容简介

　　此书为作者的博士论文，最初于2015年在“三联•哈佛燕京学术丛书”推出，因其议题的重要性，甫一出版便在学界有不小反响。本次再版，作者进行了细致的修改，也将近年来秦汉祭祀遗址最新研究，尤其是考古出土方面的情况，补入了新版之中（主要在第一章）；又在附录处增加两篇未能纳入全书体系，但又与议题关联性极强的文章。使得此修订本颇有新内容可读。

　　“国之大事，在祀与戎”，祭祀是古人重要的政治制度和文化形态。国家祭祀不仅是理解中国古代历史及宗教传统的重要视角，也与政治权力及思想文化的变迁密切相关。

　　本书对秦汉时期的国家祭祀展开了综合全面的研究，勾勒出统一王朝国家祭祀范式“形成期”的演变进程。秦初“禋祀万灵”，始皇帝整合战国传统、首创统一王朝国家祭祀框架。汉承秦制，经文帝、武帝、宣帝等多次变革重构，西汉王朝通过祭祀建立了“汉家制度”。王莽创制了“元始仪”，改变了原国家祭祀神祠分散而广布的形态，强调南郊的唯一神圣性，从而使国家的行政中心与祭祀中心得以统一，由此开启了中国两千余年的“南郊祭祀时代”。

　　作者对秦汉各阶段国家祭祀的具体制度，如祠畤位置、祭祀对象、祭祀方式等进行了细致入微的举证与考辨。其研究关注祭祀活动的地理特征、诠释了国家祭祀的空间涵义，同时综合中央地方权力关系、政治地理格局、儒学思想发展等因素，呈现国家祭祀变革与中国“大一统”历史进程之间千丝万缕的关联。

　　田天，1984年生于山东青岛，先后就读于北京大学中文系、城市与环境学院历史地理研究中心，现为北京大学考古文博学院副教授。主要从事先秦秦汉历史、思想史和出土文献的研究。在《历史研究》《文物》《文史》等刊物上发表论文二十余篇。

"The great event of the country lies in sacrifice and military service". Sacrifice was an important political system and cultural form of the ancients. National sacrifice is not only an important perspective to understand ancient Chinese history and religious tradition, but also closely related to the change of political power and ideological culture.

This book carries out a comprehensive study on the state sacrifice in the Qin and Han dynasties, and Outlines the evolution process of the "formative period" of the state sacrifice paradigm of the unified dynasty. At the beginning of Qin Dynasty, "禋 offering all souls", the emperor integrated the Warring States tradition and first unified the national sacrificial framework of the dynasty. The Han Dynasty inherited the Qin system, and the Scriptures, Wudi and Xuandi reformed and reconstructed many times. The Western Han Dynasty established the Han family system through sacrifices. Wang Mang created the "Yuan Shi Yi", which changed the scattered and widespread form of the original national sacrificial shrines and emphasized the unique sacreousness of the southern suburbs, so that the national administrative center and the sacrificial center could be unified, thus opening the "southern suburbs sacrificial era" in China for more than two thousand years.

The author gives detailed evidence and analysis on the specific system of national sacrifice in different stages of Qin and Han dynasties, such as the position of temple, the object of sacrifice and the way of sacrifice. His research focuses on the geographical characteristics of sacrificial activities, interprets the spatial meaning of national sacrificial activities, and integrates the central and local power relations, political geographical pattern, the development of Confucianism and other factors, showing the inextricable relationship between the national sacrificial reform and the historical process of China's "great unification".

About the author

Tian Tian, born in 1984 in Qingdao, Shandong Province, studied in the Chinese Language Department of Peking University and the Historical Geography Research Center of the School of Urban and Environmental Sciences, and is now an associate professor of the School of Archaeology and Heritage of Peking University. He is mainly engaged in the research of pre-Qin, Qin and Han dynasties history, ideological history and unearthed documents. He has published more than 20 papers in journals such as "Historical Research", "Cultural Relics" and "Literature and History".
