Italy at the end of the Middle Ages was a geographical concept, not a national one. Doctor of Art History from the University of East Anglia, English historian and best-selling author, specializing in the history of the Italian Renaissance, from art history to daily life in the Renaissance, has published articles on the subject in several academic journals, and has authored several books on Renaissance history.

Female, born 1983. Associate professor, Master tutor, School of History, Wuhan University, Visiting scholar, University of Venice. His research interests include the social and political history of Renaissance Italy.
