《从熊口归来》内容简介

　　年轻的法国人类学者娜斯塔西娅·马丁长期和北极圈内的原住民共同生活。2015年秋天，她在翻越堪察加火山的途中遭遇了一头熊，被咬去了半边颌骨。她奇迹般幸存了下来，而她生命中的危机才真正开始：辗转俄法多家医院，被绑在床上，切开气管，脸上植入金属板，反复经历手术、插管、感染，遭受秘密警察的盘问和猎奇者的围观……这一切几乎将她摧毁。

Nastasia Martin, a young French anthropologist, has long lived with indigenous peoples in the Arctic Circle. In the fall of 2015, while climbing the Kamchatka volcano, she was confronted by a bear, which bit off half of her jaw. She miraculously survived, and the crisis in her life really began: she was tied to a bed in multiple hospitals in Russia and France, her trachea was cut open, metal plates were implanted in her face, repeated surgeries, intubations, infections, questioning by the secret police and watching by curiosity hunters... It almost destroyed her.

The broken Nastasia recalled that Kamchatka's Evans had a word for "Miedka" (" half human, half bear "), and that before this encounter she had also been known locally as "Maduka" (" woman-bear "). In order to reunderstand the event, she traveled 800 kilometers through the forest in a climate of minus 40 degrees Celsius to return to live with the tribe of the Evin people. During this time, she rebuilds herself and explores other ways of dealing with the world until she starts again...

Nastasia Martin (1986-)

An anthropologist who graduated from the Institute for Advanced Social Sciences (EHESS) in Paris, he studied animistic nomads in the Arctic and conducted field studies in Alaska and Kamchatka. He was awarded the LouisCastex Prize by the Academy de France. When the book was published, it became a sensation in France, He has won the Sommer Prize (PrixFrancoisSommer), the Light of Life Prize (Prixdulive Dureel), the Pierre Marc Orlan Prize (PrixMarc Macorlan), the JosephKessel Prize (JosephKessel) and many other awards.

About the Translator

Yuan Xiaoyi, translator, professor of French at East China Normal University, Dean of Simian Institute for Advanced Humanities. He has translated more than 30 works of French literature, including The Myth of Sisyphus, The Tender Song, The Wandering Star, Life Elsewhere, The Outside World, and the Reverie of a Lonely Rambler. He won the 10th Fu Lei Translation and Publishing Award.
