Brief introduction of the Philosophical Study of Evil:
What is the nature of evil? How does evil happen and what are the consequences? Is Kant's historical interpretation of evil still relevant today? What is the connection between mass murder, racial slavery, and collective activism? Why is evil so often associated with collective action? What is the possibility and legitimacy of forgiveness and revenge? How can individuals understand and cope with the universality of evil in human interaction? This book is a philosophical inquiry into these questions and combines philosophical concepts with psychological evidence and historical events to provide a series of innovative analyses that are both insightful and realistic.
