李洋，北京大学艺术学院教授、博士生导师，欧盟大学委员会高级访问学者，北京大学图像与视觉研究中心主任，北京大学图像学实验室执行主任，主要研究方向为艺术理论、图像哲学与电影史，著有《目光的伦理》《迷影文化史》《莱昂内西部片中的手势》等，“新迷影丛书”主编。
The Life After Death of Images
AbyWarburg is undoubtedly the most important art historian of the 20th century who has had an impact on image theory. This book is a selection of research papers by AbyWarburg, the famous German art historian, covering a general commentary on his academic and intellectual career. And a case study of the Atlas of the Goddess of Memory, an important masterpiece of art history in his later years, accompanied by a detailed academic chronology of the introduction, translation, and study of Abby Warburg in China.
About the author
Li Yang, Professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Art, Peking University, Senior Visiting Scholar of the European Union University Commission, Director of the Center for Image and Vision Studies, Peking University, and Executive Director of the Imaging Laboratory of Peking University. His research interests include art theory, image philosophy and film history. He is the author of The Ethics of the Gaze, The History of Fan Film Culture, Gestures in Leone's Western Films, etc. Editor of "New Fan Shadow Series".
