Janet McCurdy, born in 1992, began auditioning for commercials at the age of 6 under the guidance of her mother, Deborah, and later appeared in TV series, film walk-ons, supporting roles, and starred with famous actors such as Tom Hanks and Harrison Ford.
In 2007, at the age of 15, Janet became one of the most popular child stars in the United States when she played the lead role of Sam Puckett in the TV show "Little Anchor." In 2013, Janet's mother Deborah died. In 2018, struggling with mental illness and eating problems, Janet retired from the stage to devote herself to writing, directing, and radio podcasting.
