胡里奥·亚马萨雷斯(1955—),西班牙诗人、小说家、记者,现居马德里。他是“新小说”的代表人物,作品以诗意的文字和对自然的关注为特色,小说代表作有《月夜狼影》《黄雨》《忘却的河流》等,均在文坛大放异彩,得到读者和评论界的如潮好评。他曾获得西班牙“国家文学奖”及其他多项大奖。

One man, defend a village; One man, against an era. Since its publication in 1988, the book has been republished more than 30 times in Spain and is included in the school curriculum.
Julio Yamasares (1955 -) is a Spanish poet, novelist and journalist based in Madrid. He is a representative of the "new novel", his works are characterized by poetic writing and attention to nature, the representative novels such as "Moonlight Wolf Shadow", "Yellow Rain" and "Forgotten River", etc., in the literary world, have been praised by readers and critics. He has won the Spanish National Prize for Literature and many other awards.
He was born in Bergamian, in the Spanish province of Leon, and when he was young, the small village was flooded by a reservoir collapse, forcing his family to move to Saviro, in the same province. The destruction of the village and the memories of his childhood and boyhood provided material and inspiration for his later works. Yellow Rain is a typical example. The author borrowed the words of the protagonist in the book to express his deep love for rural life, and explore the great impact of modern civilization on nature and the price people pay for it.
