《入木三分》内容简介

　　本书是厄普代克著名的三部艺术随笔集（《浮光掠影》《目不转睛》《入木三分》）中的一部，首次出版于2012年，共收录15篇艺术评论随笔。作者通过1990年代以来二十余年的观展经历，引领读者无限走近艺术大师的作品，从“美国视角”对近两百年来西方大师级艺术作品进行全面评述，从古典到现代，从印象派到波普文化，赏析了包括莫奈、德加、米罗、维亚尔、贝克曼、马格里特、利希滕斯坦等十多位艺术家的作品。其中单独辟一篇评述收藏大家克拉克兄弟，阐述了艺术与人文的特殊关系，即艺术作为文明生活的附属品如何成为一种精神赌博或是未来的投资。

　　约翰•厄普代克（JohnUpdike，1932.3.18—2009.1.27），集小说家、诗人、剧作家、散文家和评论家于一身的美国当代文学大师，作品两获普利策奖和国家图书奖，获得欧•亨利奖等其他众多奖项多达十数次。“性爱、宗教和艺术”是厄普代克毕生追求的创作标的，“美国人、基督徒、小城镇和中产阶级”则是厄普代克独擅胜场的创作主题，他由此成为当之无愧的美国当代中产阶级的灵魂画师，被誉为“美国的巴尔扎克”。

　　厄普代克早年曾就读于牛津大学拉斯金绘画与美术学院，对绘画、雕塑、插画等艺术形式有着浓厚的兴趣。他于1989年、2005年和2012年出版了三本艺术随笔集《浮光掠影》《目不转睛》和《入木三分》，都是不可多得的艺术评论佳作。

About the author

JohnUpdike (March 18, 1932 - January 27, 2009), novelist, poet, playwright, essayist and critic in one of the master of contemporary American literature, works won two Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award, won the O. Henry Award and other numerous awards as many as ten times. "Sex, religion and art" is Updike's lifelong pursuit of the creation of the subject, "Americans, Christians, small towns and the middle class" is Updike's unique success in the creation of the theme, he thus became a well-deserved American contemporary middle class soul painter, known as the "American Balzac".

Updike studied at the Ruskin School of Painting and Fine Art at Oxford University and had a keen interest in painting, sculpture, illustration and other art forms.
